One Generation Away!

One Generation Away!

How does a family go from walking closely with God… to not even knowing Him?

It doesn’t happen all at once.
It happens slowly. Quietly. Through drift.

Scripture shows us this sobering reality in Book of Judges 2:10. A generation rose up that didn’t know the Lord, even after everything He had done. That should shake us. Because if we’re not careful, that story can become ours.

Here’s the truth most people don’t want to face:

Faith is not inherited. It’s imparted.

Just because you love God doesn’t mean your children will. Just because you go to church doesn’t mean your home is spiritually strong. If faith is not alive and active in your marriage, it will not survive into the next generation.

Your children are watching everything.

They’re watching how you pray.
How you handle conflict.
How you forgive.
How you worship.

They won’t just follow what you say. They will follow what you live.

This is where it gets real. You and your spouse are the spiritual gatekeepers of your home. Not your pastor. Not your church. You.

That’s not pressure. That’s purpose.

Because the enemy isn’t just after your marriage. He’s after your legacy. If he can get you distracted, divided, or disconnected, he doesn’t just win with you… he wins with your children.

But here’s the hope that changes everything:

If faith can be lost in one generation, it can be restored in one too.

It can start with you.

You don’t need to be perfect. You need to be intentional. Pray together. Open God’s Word together. Talk about Him in everyday life. Repent quickly. Forgive freely. Fight for unity.

Build a marriage where faith is not just talked about… it’s lived.

Because at the end of the day, you can leave your children many things. But only one thing will last forever:

A legacy of faith.

Don’t just build a life together.
Build something that outlives you.
